A second floor two bedroom apartment sat right on the edge of the pedestrianised Gosport town centre in Hampshire with great transport links being opposite the foot passenger ferry to Portsmouth and beyond and only a stones throw from the main High Street and nearby marinas.

Rooms

The prices advertised on our website for are for up to 4 guests over 2 bedrooms accommodating large 5ft king size zip and link double beds (which can convert to create 2 singles if required), plus the lounge also has a large corner sofa bed. Additional guests over 4 are charged at a rate of £50 per week/part week per head, or we charge £25 per set of extra linen requested.

A child cots and highchair are also available at no extra cost. (If cots are provided guests are asked to please bring their own child’s bedding).

Bathrooms

The apartment has a main communal shower room with large corner shower, toilet and wash hand basin, with tiled floor and walls and a large heated towel rail.

Kitchen

The kitchen is the open plan and showroom quality with modern shaker style units, granite worktops, ceramic tiling to floor and walls, integrated stainless steel oven/hob/extractor hood, a separate fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and all other essential mod cons.

Living room

The lounge/dining area is the main hub of the apartment and is well furnished with soft furnishings to the lounge and the dining area occupying an extending table and 6 chairs, plus offers dual windows affording great views over the goings on within the harbour, The Spinnaker Tower and the harbour entrance. A large corner sofa can convert to create a sofa bed for additional guests, if required

Parking

Unfortunately our apartments overlooking the harbour do not have allocated parking however there is a car park directly behind the apartment chargeable at £1 an hour up to £6 a day between the hours of 8am – 7pm.

For the comfort of others smoking is not permitted within our properties so please refrain from smoking indoors. Smoking is permitted in the outside areas only.

Waterside Location

This property is within a 1 minute walk of the harbour foreshore, a 2 minute walk to Endeavour and Haslar Marinas or a 7 minute drive to Stokes Bay Beach.

Neighbours

All our properties are located within residential areas so we do have neighbours whom we need to consider. If you feel you could comfortably monitor noise levels then we would love to have you stay and have had countless guests who have had a great time with us at our properties. If however you feel that it would not be possible to monitor noise levels, then we would have to recommend you consider something more rural, without neighbours.

The nearest train station to the the property is Portsmouth Harbour which is in Portsmouth, so you will need to get the short 4 minute ferry across to Gosport. The ferry sails every 5-15 minutes from Portsmouth Harbour station depending on the time of day.

If arriving in the UK, the closest international airports are Southampton (20 miles/32 km – a 25 min drive), London Heathrow (72 miles/116 km – a 1.2 hour drive) or London Gatwick (84 miles/135 km – a 1.4 hour drive).

Shops

There are a number of convenience stores within the High Street which are within a couple of minute walk or the nearest large supermarkets are Aldi, PO12 1BG (a 2 min drive) or Morrisons, PO12 1NG (a 3 min drive).

Being on the edge of the High Street and the harbour entrance there are a number of good pubs and restaurants close to the property such as The Great Wall of China Chinese Restaurant, The Castle Pub and Restaurant, Nelson’s Pub and Restaurant. The Star (Wetherspoons) Pub and Restaurant, Katie’s Bar and Restaurant, Hardy’s at Haslar Restaurant etc.

Walking, Running & Cycling

Many major supermarkets now offer click & collect, or home delivery if booked in advance through their online shops. We are also in an Amazon Prime Now delivery area.

There are a number of local taxi firms; such as Andicars, Aqua Cars, Bridge Cars, Busters Cars, Hardway Cabs, Streamline, Skyline as well as Uber, plus you are a 2 minute walk away from the ferry taxi rank.

At this property there are plenty of options on either Deliveroo, Just Eat or UberEats.

FAQs

Check in times are between 2 - 6pm (unless agreed otherwise) with checkout by 10am on day of departure. If an early check in or late departure time is required then we will do what we can to help, however if this is vital for your plans we recommend guests book the extra night.
Bedding, linen and bathroom towels are provided for the number of guests booked to stay with a complimentary linen and towel change carried out for stays of 10 nights and over. Additional bedding is available if required at the cost of £25 per set to include 2 medium sized bath towels. If additional towels over those provided are requested these can also be supplied at a cost of £1 per hand towel, £2 per medium sized bath towel and £3 per large bath towel. The above is part of our environmental and sustainability program, which is designed to reduce waste, with all our properties provided with washing machines for your use if required, plus you are welcome to bring additional bedding/towels if you wish. An additional mid term maid cleaning service is also available for a cleaner to attend for 3 hours at a cost of £45 and please contact us if required.

Harbour View Two was very clean throughout

Tastefully decorated and has great views of the harbour from the lounge windows. The beds are comfortable and the bed linen and towels very clean.  The area is very flat so easily accessible and great access to the Gosport Ferry and local shops. Complete Holiday Homes provided excellent service, booking was straight forward and we were made to feel very welcome, we would definitely book this property again.

Perfect view apartment

We were very satisfied with the Harbour View 2 accommodation. The payment and administration procedures were very fast and clear. If we had any problem, the staff helped us. The flat was big, tidy and comfortable with a beautiful view to port and Spinnaker Tower and was very well located near the Gosport ferry (ideal for daily travelling (approx. 4 mins) to Portsmouth and back). We spent 6 months at this flat and we enjoyed this stay very much. Ken and Sophie were very helpful (they helped us with our all requests). It was easy to communicate with them by email or phone. We can highly recommend this accommodation.
