A superb detached 4 story Georgian townhouse sleeping 12 guests in superior quality beds made up with crisp white cotton linen and fresh white towels. Two of the bedrooms also have fold out bed chairs and another two bedrooms have futon style bed cubes, plus the lounge has a sofa bed to possibly accommodate up to 16 guests, if required.

Bathrooms

Four of the bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, plus there is the main 2nd floor communal bathroom and a ground floor cloakroom, with all towelling provided.

Kitchen/Diner

The kitchen comes fitted with all essential mod cons and is fully equipped for self-catering with a centre island electric hob, upright double oven and microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and a large American style fridge freezer.

The dining area is open plan to the kitchen with a splendid extending table that can seat up to 14 with sliding bi-fold doors that open onto the courtyard garden allowing the outside in.

Living rooms

There are 2 living room/lounges :- a lounge TV room on the ground floor opposite the kitchen/diner, accommodating a large corner sofa and a 60” TV. The second is the first floor living room with another large corner sofa and a 30” TV. To this second living room there is also a 2 seater sofa bed for additional guests if required, a designated work area with computer, table and 4 chairs, plus a large bookcase.

Outdoor spaces

The courtyard garden to the rear is laid with flagstone slabs with shrubs to its borders making it usable in most weathers complete with outdoor seating. Finally to the rear is the garage, which can accommodate up to 2 medium sized cars, which is rare within the area.

Some of our properties have age restrictions, such as where we feel it would not be suitable for younger all adult groups, such as within quiet residential areas where noise may be an issue. All bookings are subject to Owners’ Discretion. Our star system is based on current English standards

Linen & Towels

All bedding and towelling is provided, with a mid term maid cleaning service available on request. Additional linen is available at £25 per set to include 1 medium bath towel. Please select here for a complete list of linens and towels supplied.

For Dogs

We warmly welcome up to 3 small to medium sized well behaved dogs friends at St Thomas’s at an additional cost of £25 each per dog, per week/part week. (However, to be fair to our neighbours no continuous barkers please).

For Children

A child cots and highchair are available at no extra cost, plus St Thomas’s also has the option of fitting child gates top and bottom of the stairs. (If cots are provided guests are asked to please bring their own child’s bedding).

Parking

The is secure off-road parking for 2 small to medium sized cars within the rear garage, which is rare withing this area. Also the property is only 0.8 miles (1.3 km) from Portsmouth’s ‘The Hard’ Train Station so why not let the train take the train

Smoking Rules

For the comfort of others smoking is not permitted within our properties so please refrain from smoking indoors. Smoking is permitted in the outside areas only.

There is plenty of room within the garage and the courtyard garden to bring cycles if you wish, which is a great way to get around town or down to the beach.

This property is within a 5 minute walk to the Hot Walls by the harbour entrance or a 15 min walk from Southsea Beach

Neighbours

All our properties are located within residential areas so we do have neighbours whom we need to consider. If you feel you could comfortably monitor noise levels (in particular out in the gardens and outside areas into the evenings) then we would love to have you stay and have had countless gatherings who have had a great time with us at our properties. If however you feel that it would not be possible to monitor noise levels, then we would have to recommend you consider something more rural, without neighbours.

FAQs

Check in times are between 4 - 6pm (unless agreed otherwise) with checkout by 10am on day of departure. If an early check in or late departure time is required then we will do what we can to help, however if this is vital for your plans we recommend guests book the extra night.
Bedding, linen and bathroom towels are provided for the number of guests booked to stay. Additional bedding is available if required at the cost of £25 per set to include 1 medium sized bath towel. If additional towels over those provided are requested these can also be supplied at a cost of £1 per hand towel and £2 per medium sized bath towel. The above is part of our environmental and sustainability program, which is designed to reduce waste, with all our properties provided with washing machines for your use if required, plus you are welcome to bring additional bedding/towels if you wish.
Additional mid-term cleaning services are also available at the cost of £15 per hour, per cleaner, and you can request how long and how often you may possibly like one to attend. This can include a general clean of the kitchen, bathrooms and vacuuming and we would suggest a guide of 4 hours for this task. Please contact us if required.
We are understandably sensitive about what surfaces items such as balloons and banners are fixed or stuck to so would be happy to put these up for you to limit any possible damage, but would not wish to take on the responsibility of choosing and purchasing these items for you in case we did not get it quite right. However, if you wished to mail the items you would like us to put up for you please contact us at least 10 days prior to your arrival for the postal details and we will endeavour to have these put up where possible, in time for your arrival.
