A beautiful property with everything you need for a large group with small children!

We found Stoke Villas to be a lovely property that was well presented and maintained which provided us with a comfortable stay for 10 adults and 7 children all under 5. We didn't come specifically for the local area but the location has good access to some interesting surrounding places. 'Complete Holiday' provided us with excellent communication and secure booking system. The landlord provided a great introduction. A wonderful property that catered for all our needs!

Excellent House - Excellent Experience

A fantastic house, so much to do, great weekend ! The house was absolutely beautiful, we couldn't have asked for more. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating, perfect for a large group of friends ... We wish we could have stayed for longer.

Excellent venue for a family or group get together.

We really enjoyed our stay at Stoke Villas. The facilities at the house were excellent and Lee’s ‘handover’ when we arrived was very helpful, explaining how everything worked. The location was very convenient for both shopping at the Gunwharf Quays and trips to the beach. There was also a Waitrose supermarket within easy walking distance. We would certainly recommend it for a family or group celebration or just a general get together.

Home away from home

From booking, payment, making changes and the return of the deposit, the whole process has been smooth and all queries have been answered politely and speedily. Stoke Villas was lovely, the rooms were nicely furnished and clean on arrival and the party all commented on how deceptive the house is from the outside. The kitchen was like a little hub and the kids loved the trampoline and we made use of the lovely gas barbecue. The hot tub was amazing and everyone had a great time. We didn't want to go out and explore as it was so relaxing to be in the house, a home away from home. The kitchenware was practical and there was nothing extra we needed. Overall, everyone had a great time and the surprise 40th birthday weekend was enjoyed by all and we have some lovely memories.

A good holiday

A tastefully decorated house, the beds were comfortable with lovely bedding and super fluffy towels. The games room was very well used as was the hot tub. The house is in a good location and everything we needed was there. Complete's staff were brilliant on the booking and Lee was very helpful when we arrived.

Impeccable Service and Beautiful House

Thank you for such a wonderful weekend at Stoke Villas. The house was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean when we arrived and fun was had by all! We were very lucky with the weather so could use the garden and the boat trip we took was great. Grrrrrreat!

A large group of us were looking for somewhere in the south to stay for a weekend at short notice, and we couldn't have asked for more. The house had been set up to cater for the extra guests we were bringing and the land lord was more than helpful throughout the process. The pool table/ping ping table were great fun for all and the garden was great for a few quiet beers and a BBQ. A comfy sitting room and a well equipped kitchen ensures we were well fed and well rested. All in all, a great place to stay with all the facilities we could have asked for. Thanks to the landlord for having us!

Perfect, rescued a last minute weekend getaway!

After our original weekend away for 20 people was cancelled very last minute, Stoke Villas came to the rescue. Everything was organised perfectly, the house was set up just as we requested. The owner was very helpful with our questions and it couldn't have gone better. The games room kept us amused, the space was plenty for everyone and luckily, the sun was shining for a trip to the beach. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Perfect stay in first class accommodation

We had a fantastic time at Stoke Villas, from the moment we arrived through to when we left. Lee greeted us on arrival and was very helpful in giving us a tour of the house, and ensuring that our stay would be as comfortable as possible. The facilities in the house were second to none, and decorated to a high standard, with every one of our group commenting on what a great place it was to stay in. The house was situated only a short walk from Gosport ferry, giving us easy access to Portsmouth & Gunwharf Quays (and adding to the occasion due to novelty value) which gave us everything we needed for a highly entertaining and enjoyable weekend away. I will be recommending the house, AND Complete Holiday Homes to anyone I can due to the highly proficient service and quality of stay resulting in an excellent all round experience with all concerned.

Stoke Villas over Half Term

Our group of 6 adults, 4 children and 2 infants had the most enjoyable stay at Stoke Villas over our Half Term. Communication with the owner and booking company (Complete Holiday Homes) was excellent. The location was good - a large Waitrose opposite was so handy and we strolled 15mins to catch the ferry to Portsmouth. Despite the wet and windy weather we had a great time thanks to the well equipped kitchen, comfortable rooms and hired hot tub (Yellow Duck). The house was perfectly clean and in good condition throughout. Absolutely no complaints and for the amazing price we paid we would not hesitate to return to this lovely house. Fabulous Fortieth

Home from Home !! An amazing house to spend my birthday celebrations with three generations all having fun together. A weekend to remember! The boys - old & young loved the pool and table tennis table. An ideal venue to celebrate our daughters Birthday. We all felt very much at home in this lovely house. Grandchildren wanted to stay forever. Super towels and bed linen plus Complete's staff were co-operative and efficient.

Fabulous Hen Do House

Excellent Service

The whole experience from booking to when we arrived was handled very professionally and with care. The staff were very caring of our needs. The property was excellent and the attention to detail was second to none, offering everything you could possibly need for a very enjoyable stay. We were met at the door and shown round by very friendly owners, who were very accommodating to our time frames. Fantastic experience from start to finish

The house was fantastic for our hen party. Everyone commented on how beautiful the house was and it was the perfect location for shopping and partying in Portsmouth. The hired in hot tub made the experience even more special, sitting in it on a cold December night was quite surreal. The communication with Complete Holidays and the owner, Lee, made the booking process and stay very easy and trouble free. We don't think we would have got have got such beautiful accommodation with all the fantastic facilities any where else.

Fantastic Hen Do Location

We had a fantastic stay, the house was amazing. The landlord was very friendly and accommodating, I have found the whole experience from booking through to checking out a very smooth and everyone at Complete Holidays has been very friendly and provided detailed answered to my many queries (especially Sophie!) which was much appreciated and we used the contacts you provided for the hot tub and butler in the buff, both of which went down brilliantly. No complaints and weekend went without a hitch, we even had brilliant sunshine the whole weekend!!! The table being set up for dinner beautifully when we got there was a lovely touch and the house was immaculate when we arrived.

We had a great time at Stoke Villas

The house is really nice and the kids were kept very busy with the snooker, table tennis, trampoline – and, of course, the TV! We had a good walk down to the beach, followed by fantastic fish and chips and then a well-deserved afternoon rest when we got back. Overall, we had a great stay and the house was very comfortable.

Great house for big group

We had a lovely stay at Stoke Villas which is a beautiful house with great facilities. The games room especially was great fun! Lee was very welcoming, gave us lots of suggestions and advice about the area and the check in/check out process was very easy as was the booking process. Amazing place to stay!!!

We booked the house for a Hen Weekend and we had a great time. The house is beautiful. Lovely garden. Rooms are lovely and clean with cleans white linen and immaculately presented. I would recommend this house for families too as we are thinking it would be a perfect place to spend Xmas.

A perfect house for a family holiday, catering for all ages from 3 months to 74!

We very much enjoyed our week at Stoke Villas. We found the house very comfortable and well equipped. The house and garden were safe for the children and the older ones loved being able to go to Waitrose without an adult, to buy croissants! Everyone loved the games room and made full use of it. We appreciated the fact that we could so easily walk to the ferry port and it was so straightforward to replenish our supplies----and with a first class local fish shop. The hot tub rental added to our fun and we would all recommend this as an extra. So you see, it was a great family week and thank-you for all your help.

Immaculate house, perfect for big groups

When we arrived at Stoke Villas we were pleased to find it immaculately clean and equipped with everything we could possibly need for the weekend. Everything is modern and in very good condition - hot showers, fluffy towels, WiFi and a well-maintained garden. Lee the landlord was also very friendly and accommodating. All in all it was the perfect base for a lovely hen weekend. The staff at Complete Holiday Homes made the booking very straightforward and fuss-free.

Perfect Weekend Away

Thank you so much for allowing us to rent your property. Stoke Villas was more than I had imagined. It was clean, tidy, well equipped and the rooms were spacious and well presented. Lee the owner met us at the property and gave us a tour and checked we was happy and gave any information we may have needed. Booking the property was straight forward and easy and I spoke to Ken a few times who was more than happy to help with any questions. Any emails I had sent had a fast reply. The location of the property is perfect, right by Waitrose and the local shops. We popped into Dolly's Tearooms and had some afternoon tea, kindly recommended by Lee. The ferry port is an easy 10-15 stroll and the ferry was regular. I'd definitely love to come back and stay again in the near future.

Worked well for us

Stoke Villas - The area has a great many interesting attractions and Gosport makes an excellent base for visiting them. Given our good weather the property was well sited, off the main road but close to it, with easy access to the ferry, buses, local shops, beaches, walking and cycling routes, etc. The house was well equipped and clean with comfortable beds and facilities for adults and children.

Great House, Good Location

Our stay at Stoke Villas was brilliant. The property was in a nice area and was easy walking distance for the ferry to Portsmouth which was the main thing for us. The house had lots of different things available for entertainment, i.e. the games table, trampoline and music system, as well as the BBQ. Overall, for our requirements it was an excellent choice, with many of our group commenting on how nice the house was. The whole booking process was smooth and communication was excellent with staff on hand to answer any queries as and when required.

Perfect for groups visiting Portsmouth area

Everyone loved Stoke Villas and the owners were very helpful and friendly as well. The house was fully equipped for our large group. It is a 10 min walk to the 5 min ferry ride which takes you across the harbour to the Quay. The service I have received from yourselves at Complete Holiday Homes has been great; efficient and friendly in answered any questions I have had. It has made booking a trip for a large group much less stressful, so thank you.

Fantastic house and fantastic service!

We had a brilliant weekend. The house was perfect and we felt that you had thought of absolutely everything. There was nothing that the house wasn't equipped with which made it a fantastic weekend. The company has been fantastic to get hold of and every time I emailed I was replied to extremely quickly. They were also very patient with my 20 odd questions!! I was also really impressed with the organisation of sending out a welcome email with directions and how organised it was to ring the landlord etc. So overall we were extremely pleased with everything and I would definitely recommend you to others and would return to that property!

We loved it! Was what we needed, clean, enough beds, enough bathrooms & well kitted out. Very central, loved walking down to the ferry & using the boat to get to Gunwharf quays and the Historic Dockyard. Family break at Stoke Villas

With regard to our stay at the above we should like to say that we had a super time. The accommodation was more than adequate for all our needs. The rooms clean and tidy and the family especially enjoyed the use of the table tennis and pool table. We made use of the local buses and ferry to Portsmouth and Isle of Wight.

Luxury, Large Hen House

A wonderful stay at Stoke Villas. There wasn't one thing that we couldn't find and the whole house is decorated beautifully. We all had such fun, comfy sleeps and no issues with neighbours or parking. Don't think I have a negative, it was amazing!

Saskia's Hen Do

We all thought the property was well kitted out, warm, tidy, lovely colours and so much room. We would thoroughly recommend this property ! We did not see much of the local area however travelled to PlayZone in Portsmouth on the Friday night and stayed in the house on the Saturday doing activities. We hired in a hot tub from Yellow Duck Hot Tub Hire and some of the girls braved it in the snow !! The administration from Complete was perfect, the information guide on arrival left nothing to query. It was a fabulous weekend.

Fantastic stay at Stoke Villas - great place and ideal for a large group

We were all really impressed with Stoke Villas and had a fantastic time. We loved having the front room (used as a chilling zone) and the conservatory with the games table and music (for the more active of us). It was perfect distance from shop (we went over to Waitrose a few times as we had forgotten some ingredients for our Saturday night curry). It was also a nice walk to the ferry where most of us went on the Saturday for some retail therapy. The house was warm, cosy, beds were really comfortable and everywhere was immaculately clean (a must). Lee the landlord was great and was waiting for us when we arrived. He was really kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back again!

Amazing holiday home

Stoke house is a fabulous holiday home with all the necessary facilities. It is well equipped and spacious for a large crowd. We had an amazing holiday at Stoke Villas. It is ideally located, close enough to both the beach front and local attractions. We had a wonderful experience, where both the adults & kids enjoyed their time and had plenty to keep us occupied. Simply the Best!

Stoke Villa was a 5* accommodation. Lee & Mandy had prepared the place with everything that was needed to have a comfortable stay and Lee was very gracious to us in the orientation tour and other communications. We had a lovely stay. The description of the house and bedrooms/ bathrooms was spot on.The kitchen was fully kitted out even with rubbish bags. There was plenty of toilet paper. The towels were big and fluffy. The beds were comfortable. The extra off road parking places were very helpful. It was nice having a Waitrose right around the corner. It was a 15 minute walk to the Ferry and across to Portsmouth, Gunwharf. The one big bedroom with bay windows and full length free standing mirror and another mirror were perfect for our daughter and her bridesmaids, to get make up applied, their hair done, and dressed, and photos before going to the church. It was like that bedroom was designed for a bride! Our one regret was that we did not get to fully enjoy the facilities. We were not there on a holiday but to support our daughter as the bride in wedding on the Saturday. Consequently we spent more time at the church for practice and decorating and ceremony and more time at the reception venue- Skylark Golf Club than we wanted to, however we did have a great time at the Villa! Highest marks for Lee. Highest marks for the Villa. Highest marks for the weather. Highest marks for the communication before, during, and follow up.

Great service and a great house

Our overseas holiday had to be delayed until next year due to Covid 19 so we decided to try and get away for a few days in the UK instead. For 9 people and 2 dogs it wasn't an easy task with only a couple of weeks notice. After looking at many properties on many different sites, we enquired about one with Complete Holiday Homes. Unfortunately that one wasn't available but after a phone conversation with your company an alternative was soon sent through. From then on your service was amazing and everything handled very quickly and professionally. Communication from the property owners was fantastic and they let us check in a bit early as we had arrived and it was all ready for us. The house itself was just what we were looking for. Spacious but still homely, nicely decorated but not so pristine that you were scared to touch anything. The games table was brilliant and kept both adults and children amused. We hired a hot tub from Yellow Duck Tubs which was well worth it. Overall i would definitely use your company again and recommend it to others, and the same goes for the house.

Perfect in every way

The house was absolutely perfect and so well equipped. Lee the owner came to meet us when we arrived on Friday evening and he was so helpful and explained everything we needed in detail. He also said to call if there was anything else we needed (which we didn't but it was a lovely gesture). The location was perfect for us as we walked to Walpole Park for games on the Saturday (and the sun shone) before coming back to the house for lunch in the dining room which was all set up and ready, with plenty of room for our large group. The garden was big enough for all of us to picnic outside for dinner and the hot tub was very well received (again so easy to book/pay for etc via yourselves with Yellow Duck). It was all set up and ready to jump into when we arrived which was lovely. We all had a brilliant time and there was nothing we needed which was not already provided in the property. We would definitely recommend Stoke Villas and Complete Holiday Homes to friends and family as the whole process was very simple and straightforward and the standard of the property was just great. Also having parking for eight cars was amazing, especially as the house was so central.

We had a lovely time at Stoke Villas - the property was spacious and bedrooms were good size as well. We were group of 10 adults and 8 kids. Linens, towels and bathrooms were clean. Perfect for a large group

Stoke Villas, Gosport

We had a fantastic stay at Stoke Villa - it was perfect for our family size and accommodated for all of us. From the youngest toddler to eldest grandad - we had lots of fun with the games table and in the garden luckily as the weather was good. The location was excellent for us getting around and we had a super trip over to Portsmouth and back by foot and ferry. The house was very clean and fresh. We look forward to booking with you again.

Perfect house in perfect location

Stoke Villa is amazing and so big! Ten of us stayed there including four young children and at no point did it feel crowded. The house was spotlessly clean and the kitchen well equipped with everything we needed. All five bedrooms were lovely and more than enough bathrooms. We all fitted easily into the dining room which made eating together a joy. The living room was cosy and a lovely place to retire to on a night. The garden was a delight and the children loved the trampoline. Lee the landlord was there when we arrived and showed us where everything was. He was also a mine of local information and gave us tips on where to visit in the surrounding area which we made use of. The location of the property was excellent for us, just round the corner from the main street filled with pubs, cafes, restaurants and takeaways and a Waitrose round the corner. Even so, the area is quiet and peaceful. It was just a 20 minute walk to the ferry to take us across to Portsmouth to visit the Historic Dockyard museums with the Victory and Mary Rose exhibits and much more to see. We also enjoyed looking round Gunwharf Quays Designer Outlet which is just next door to the dockyard. We found the road and motorway network from the property made it easy to get to Legoland in Windsor, Brownsea Island in Poole Harbour and Paultons Park home of Peppa Pig World. We would recommend Stoke Villas to anybody looking for a family holiday in a great location with plenty to do locally and in the surrounding areas.

Family Christmas

Our large family Christmas holiday at Stoke Villas was excellent and met the needs of all of our group both old and young. The property was decorated beautifully for the time of year, we loved the Christmas tree and particularly enjoyed the pool / table tennis table especially when the heavens opened as it rained quite a lot while we were there. Easy access to shops and convenient having a Waitrose store at the end of the road open until late at night. Easy access to ferry so trip to Gunwharf Quays a must for shopping. Parking for so many cars was excellent too as various members had to travel separately due to work commitments. Everyone commented on how comfortable the bedding was, especially the pillows. Entering and leaving the property was very smooth. I arrived early and was allowed to enter the property early because it was prepared and ready which was really appreciated. The staff at Complete Holiday Homes were excellent and answered all my silly questions to help with my booking and my deposit was returned quickly which was appreciated. Everything was so good we have now booked for Christmas next year!

Superb value for money accommodation.

Stoke Villas was fantastic value for money. I was a little anxious about what the premises would be like as the cost was a lot cheaper than other ones I had been viewing. My brother was also a bit anxious as he lives in Portsmouth and was surprised we had booked in Gosport. However I have to say that the property was great and the immediate area very good. It was quiet, private and secure……..you should promote this more!! It was one of the best rentals I have stayed in for cleanliness, provided facilities, comfort and equipment. There was really nothing missing when catering for a family of 11. The beds very comfy. Enough towels. Spacious rooms. Very clean..yes it is an old property and not a boutique hotel but nevertheless very, very good value for money. Ideal location to get into Portsmouth via the ferry. We would definitely recommend this property for larger families.

Absolutely ideal for large numbers.

Stoke Villa is very spacious, with large bedrooms and lovely bed linen and towels.  Plentiful showers and toilets, a popular games conservatory and lots of parking.  Location to beaches, ferry and town very good too.  Garden is very well laid out for socialising if weather is good.  We had a family gathering from all over the country and it was absolutely ideal for our large numbers. The owner was very helpful and quick to help sort out a radiator which was not working when we arrived.  We had great fun.

Fantastic time had by all.

Christmas and the house were amazing, a fantastic time was had by all, and no one wanted to go home. The whole process was easy to follow and stress free. Stoke Villa is local to many supermarkets making shopping easy and the community are always really friendly.  We visited Gunwharf Quays on Christmas eve, for Bowling, fair rides, duck wraps and hot chocolate and then home to surprise boxes from Santa's Elves and some very excited members of our family.  We would definitely recommend to others.
