The Dairy House, Gosport – five star recommendation *****
Ken the property manager throughout our six months stay was outstanding. We booked the Dairy house to accommodate the needs of our family during what I can only describe as a challenging period in our lives. The Dairy House location and facilities are excellent, well maintained and very comfortable, I highly rate this property along with Ken and Steve the handyman who took care of all our accommodation needs throughout the stay.By: Adam B and Family
A Great Family Holiday at The Dairy House
We had a fabulous time, the house was amazing and so well equipped. Even with 16 of us there was still plenty of space to chill out and the beds were very comfy. We have not visited this part of the South Coast before and had a great time exploring. We had an amazing BBQ one night and the children really enjoyed the garden. Its the first time that all of the family have been able to get away together and everyone said how much they enjoyed it. Please thank the owner again for letting us enjoy his lovely homeBy: Rosemary S
We had a wonderful time away and The Dairy House is in a great location for shops, pubs and a walk down to the ferry over to Portsmouth. The house was very clean and tidy, and Ken was very informative when showing us around.By: Nicky
We loved our stay at The Dairy House
We much enjoyed our stay in this interesting house. It was obvious the house was very well equipped for large numbers even though we did not need to use everything. The bedrooms were very nice with lovely good quality beds and crispy white sheets and towels - and plenty of them! The games room at the back leading on to the garden was also a great success for us. The owner welcomed us and showed us around even though we arrived well after schedule on the Friday evening. We were all in all very impressed by the information given both before our arrival and during our stay.By: Josephine
Wonderful Time at The Dairy House
The Dairy House was perfect, we had a a wonderful time and my family were all extremely happy and slept well. The beds were comfortable with plenty of spare bedding and the bathroom and shower facilities were numerous and efficient. The kitchen was well equipped, we did lots of cooking and found everything we needed. The large dining room table accommodated our party of 14 with ease and the games room was a total success, lots of fun playing pool and using the Wii equipment for hilarious dance routines. We really appreciated the very high quality and standard of the Dairy House, we were celebrating a very important milestone in our marriage and it was every bit as good as our wedding day 30 years ago. The owners were welcoming providing an excellent, informative induction to the property and the surrounding area of interest plus a very generous "welcome" basket of goods to settle us in. In summary this is an excellent choice for a group of people to celebrate any occasion in generous style and we will certainly recommend it to others in our network.By: Tom S
The Dairy House was decorated more like a boutique hotel than a holiday rental
The Dairy House was decorated more like a boutique hotel than a holiday rental, with beautiful, high quality bedding and towels in place for our arrival and even the dining room table set. The kitchen was really well equipped, there was an unexpected "welcome pack" of essentials and the numerous bathrooms meant there was never any waiting for a shower. We had great fun in the games rooms; the Wii dance being a particular hit. The only tiny, tiny thing was that there's no cafetiere or equivalent in the house (or we didn't find it). For such an amazingly well equipped house this was the only thing that wasn't there that we could possibly have wanted. We have now added 2x Cafetieres :)By: Lucy
Lovely Stay at The Dairy House
Lovely stay at the Dairy House. Facilities and location were excellent. The house was ideal for our family of 15, ages ranging from 71 years to 4 years.By: Vivienne
Lovely stay for friends coming together
House was very clean and suited our group well with how many bedrooms they had . Shop and pubs within walking distance and the ferry over to Portsmouth.By: Nichola G
The house is fantastic - like a home away from home
The house is immaculate and it was noted how fantastic everything was, the decor, the facilities, the space, the equipment, the layout and the views that were offered especially from the main living room on the 2nd floor. Not everyone had met each other before so I organised games on the Friday night - so the games room was used and a friendly healthy competition happened which formed great friendships over the weekend. Simon who's stag it was passes on his compliments to everyone at Complete Holiday - thoroughly experiencing a memorable weekend. I cannot fault anything to be honest.By: Adam
A House for all seasons and reasons
This has been our third visit to this property. We have always been delighted, not easy to achieve being a family of 15 aged from 7 to 77. We particularly enjoyed the short walk along the road to see the new Aircraft Carrier. Fort Brockhurst was also only a short walk away and was enjoyed by everyone.By: Elizabeth K
Amazing, High quality, beautiful house. Perfect Stag weekend base
This House is all quality. Enough room to comfortably sleep 16+ with a games room, huge living and dining rooms and plenty of bathrooms! We used the Dairy House as a base for a stag weekend in Portsmouth, it was an exceptional weekend home. I found the whole process of booking and the procedures really smooth, easy and just as I would have liked. The quality of the house was brilliant and it was good to have Ken give us a tour on arrival. Two of the group have already asked about costs and how easy it was to book as they are also thinking about using the house for future bookings, so all in all I would say we were all very impressed and pleased with the accommodation!By: J. Partin
Fantastic house, great welcome
Like being students again only better. Superb, comfortable, spacious, well maintained and stylishly furnished. The amenities were excellent and it felt like we were the first people to stay but that also the house had a lovely lived in feel. Convenient for Pubs, Portsmouth and Explosion Museum. We loved the house, the games room and the modern kitchen and the booking staff were clear and courteous.By: Kings College Gilbert and Sullivan Society Reunion
Really nice house, great for extended families
The house was lovely and clean. It was very handy for the boat show. The weather was beautiful and so we managed to do a lot of bike riding. Really great house for extended families to get together. The owners were very nice and very helpful. Thank YouBy: The Gent Family
Lovely house, equipped with everything we could ever need.
We had a fantastic stay at the Dairy House - the house was incredibly spacious (even with 18 people in the house) and the kitchen was very well equipped. The house is in a great location - you can easily stay in, cook and enjoy the games room or head out into the town centre where there are loads of restaurants and bars. We had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a UK getaway.By: Caroline
We really enjoyed this property and had a fantastic weekend despite the weather. The property is very comfortable and really well equipped with everything you could need. The facilities are fantastic, layout of the property is great and the pool table was a real bonus for the kids! Communication with the owner and management company was really straightforward and reassuring. This property has a real feel of quality and we found it perfect for a weekends stay.By: Nicholas T
An excellent house for a group of families, very well presented and very much comfortable. The area was superb with easy access to different places, especially to Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth which was one of our favourites. The welcome pack was a great idea and the owner himself is very much accommodating, we found it really easy to book without any hassle at allBy: PINOY FRIENDS IN WGC
The perfect venue for our weekend away
It was a pleasure to have stayed in the house, set in a good location with easy access within Gosport and M3 and M27, as well as having direct ferry to Portsmouth. We had pleasant weather during our stay so we were lucky to be able to walk all the way from the house to the ferry port and do a spot of shopping around Gunwharf Quay. The house itself was well set up with all the decoration found to be in high quality, as well as clean presentation which were greatly appreciated by our guests. The bedding and bathrooms were very comfortable to use, as well as the food hamper which helped us with the general essential items. The owner was very well organised and was clear with all the instructions and guides (instruction book), as well as being able to provide details about the local areas. No suggested improvements could be made – the stay was perfect, as was the house. We would stay again in the future.By: Oliver Eadsforth
An excellent property
We rented this property for our Golden Wedding weekend celebration with friends and family. It was spacious, comfortable and well maintained. The games room meant that the younger members of the family were well entertained whilst the more ‘sedate’ friends and family could enjoy conversations without interruption! A most enjoyable weekend.By: Eva W
Dairy House had everything we wanted!
The house was everything we had hoped, in fact better. We are so glad that we found Dairy House for our family get together (including five children under 5). The facilities were excellent - plenty of bathrooms, lovely bedrooms, space for the children to play, a marvellous games room (we played pool, Wii, skittles, table tennis), a huge dining table, a large well appointed lounge with view over the estuary, well equipped kitchen, plenty of parking space. We had a problem with wi-fi – the owners came round immediately and sorted it out. The estuary was fifty yards away, with lots to interest all the family, and Portsmouth was easily accessible. We wouldn't have changed anything.By: Jill Parry
Brilliant, Amazing, Fantastic, Perfect!
Brilliant, Amazing, Fantastic, Perfect! A huge thank you, The Dairy House is amazing, you have thought of everything and we thank you for making our home away from home perfect. We will be back and we will be telling all about your fabulous 'totes amaze'. There was ample size for a large group with attention to detail and your staff were friendly, helpful and informative. With love from us all.By: L. Neal
A fantastic House to Celebrate any Special Occasion
I would like to let you know that I had an absolutely fantastic time at the Dairy House. The event was my 30th Birthday and I had people attend from as far as California and South Africa. The house was clean, inviting and very well stocked, everything had been wonderfully set out and the welcome pack was a special surprise. The facilities were amazing and everyone has a brilliant time in what is a spectacular home. As you know we were a large group but the house coped brilliantly, the showers are great, the beds were great and the games room was used both nights to the max. Many thanks to Ken and the team at 'Complete Holiday Homes' for making my Bday a great event which will be remembered by all.By: Brendan
We had a fantastic stay at the Dairy house
All 3 families enjoyed everything the Dairy House had to offer. Plenty of fun had in the games room, sunny evenings spent barbecuing in the garden as well as plenty of space to eat, sleep and chill. We enjoyed some days out in the free splash parks that Gosport had to offer, a day in Alver Valley park, crazy golf and evening walks round the harbour while sampling the local pubs on the way. All in all a pretty perfect break away.By: Carly
Outstanding holiday rental
Nothing but praise to all those involved in creating such a fabulously comfortable and beautiful house. We all had such a brilliant weekend staying in the Dairy House and the combination of a great property, great weather and great company made the weekend perfect. We will all have fond memories of our weekend for a long time to come. The Dairy House is beautifully furnished, very well equipped, exceptionally clean and wonderfully spacious and comfy. The toddlers in our group loved the space to roam and the games room was a big hit. Even the big kids in the group (the husbands!) loved the games room for their competitive games of pool in the evening, whilst the ladies retired to the lounge upstairs with a bottle of wine. We were made to feel very welcome on our arrival and the complimentary welcome hamper was a lovely and unexpected touch. Thank you for being so friendly, efficient and accommodating - the stair gates for the children were ideal and we felt that the children were very safe in the house and very well catered for. They certainly loved the big corner bath in the main bathroom! We will most certainly look to come back in the future and will recommend the house to friends.By: C. Tromans
Fantastic house in a great location
There were 14 of us staying at The Dairy House and so it was important that the bedrooms were fairly equal in size and importance, and that there were plenty of bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable which was a huge bonus and all beautifully furnished. The four sets of keys was a good idea - we have struggled with not enough keys in the past. We used the games room a fair bit - the Wii was fun and the pool table got plenty of use and the lounge was very comfortable with a good view over the harbour. The decor was superb throughout and the rooms very nicely finished and everything worked. Very well equipped kitchen and cleaned to a very high standard. Welcome pack a nice touch - everyone loved that. The location is good and the walk to the ferry was very scenic and historically interesting. Lots to do in the area so something for everyone. We would definitely use you again and were impressed with all of our contact with you. You always responded quickly and were very helpful. Highly recommended, thank you.By: Naphil Mafia
A great home to meet up with friends - to laugh, drink and eat.
We all had a lovely time and it would be very hard to find fault with the house at all. It was so clean, and comfortable and we loved the games room. The bedrooms were lovely, a good size and no one felt cramped. The kitchen was possibly smaller than we expected but we managed - what a lovely big oven! We all enjoyed ourselves and we are hoping that our group in now motivated for large holidays again, but someone else can organise this time! The office staff - Sophie and Ken - have always been very, very helpful and pleasant. The administration has been excellent - easy and no hiccups.By: M. Law
Great setting for a large family gathering - all generations safe and happy
The house completely fulfilled our expectations and we had a lovely family weekend there and it felt free of hazards for our under 3's. We found it clean, comfortable and well equipped. Overall our stay was a great success with trips out to the Historic Dockyard and Queen Elizabeth country park - also the Jolly Roger Pub which was great. Many thanks to you and your team for all your hard workBy: Charles Campion-Smith and family
Top notch house for big groups
I would like to say how impressed I (and all the guests) were with the Dairy House - it really made for a fantastic weekend and the 'welcome basket' was really appreciated. All the bedrooms were great and the bedding and towels were top notch! I initially thought the kitchen was a little small compared to the rest of the house, but it was more than adequate for what we needed and the additional huge cooking pots were so useful. The table (the biggest I have ever seen!) was fantastic and great to be able to fit everyone round it all at once and the games room was also a real hit- the Wii in particular.By: Chris Baker
Fantastic family weekend
Lovely property, very homely feel, extremely well equipped. Loved the games room and all of the games provided. Lots of fridge/freezer space and a real bonus having the shed with extra cold storage. Nice walk down to the sea front. The ferry to GunWharf was great and quick also easy to get to. The staff and communication was brilliant, from the initial booking, confirmation of bed arrangements to meeting Ken at the house.By: Wendy R
We really enjoyed our stay at the Dairy House thank you. The kitchen was well stocked with all what we wanted and it was really useful to have the 2nd fridge/freezer. The house was very clean and had a nice modern feel. The play room and dining room were great, we all loved the pool table, Wii and table tennis. Plus, it was well stocked with games etc. and the docking stations are a great idea too. The rest of the rooms were also very good and the property is in a great location too. We went to the beach and walked along the foreshore for dinner at the Jolly Rodger. Staff were great, really helpful and I could definitely recommend the Dairy House!By: Matt Cooper
Fabulous accommodation at the Dairy House
I recently rented the Dairy House for a 40th reunion party of 10 ex Wrens. We found it to be top quality with every amenity provided. Beautifully furnished, the owners had thought of absolutely everything. We catered for ourselves and made great use of the lovely dining room and adjoining games room. The first floor sitting room with views across the water was also well used. The location was ideal for us: by the water, in a quiet location, but with nearby pub/restaurant on the waterfront. We visited the Historic Dockyard, Gunwharf Quays and Spinnaker Tower during our stay and found them all great venues to explore. Complete Holiday Homes have been very professional, helpful and have given great service throughout. Highly recommended for large gatherings of family or friends.By: Joanna F
Great house for celebrations!
The whole rental process was very simple and organised. Met by Ken at the property and shown the facilities and security. Absolutely spotless, very well furnished, the games room was well used! All of the beds and baths were very clean and comfortable with all mod cons. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends.By: Debra G
A great place to stay for a large group, convenient for London & South
The house and location were ideal for our purposes. When you have a big group it's nice to be able to spread out a bit and we found that the dining room, games room, conservatory and lounge all allowed people to "do their own thing" when they wanted to. The house was very well presented and the welcome pack got us going with teas and coffees as soon as we arrived. It was great to have things like oil for cooking in the kitchen as it is a real pain having to buy all the basics when you arrive. Also it was great having enough crockery and cutlery to be able to use the dishwasher and not be waiting for it to finish to use the stuff again. Fortunately we had good weather, but I think we'd have been OK even if it had been raining. The 'Explosion Museum' had a 2 day event on, which everyone enjoyed and a trip across the ferry to visit HMS Victory and HMS Warrior was also a highlight. There seems to be a lot to do in the area and everyone in the party found something to their liking, including walking along towards the ferry along the front. Our party on the Saturday evening for my wife's birthday was a great success, we did a Murder Mystery event. The booking process and making the arrangements for the weekend all worked very well. The information provided was very comprehensive - the floor plan was a good idea as I was able to allocate the rooms in advance. Thanks to Sophie in your office for all her efforts and patience and also to Alison making contact on the morning of our day of arrival to arrange meeting us at the property. To sum up I'd have to say that it was difficult to find fault with anything. Thank you very much for making it such an enjoyable experience. Thanks to everyone involved.By: Sue and Geoff Fuller
Ideal big house for a big party
A great 70th birthday surrounded by lots of relations of all ages from 2 - 87 years !! Lovely house, well furnished and well decorated, complete in every respect, especially the kitchen, everything we needed was here. The area, Gosport and Portsmouth are where many of our ancestors were born and lived so we were able to re-discover the old haunts. Completes staff and administration were great, thank you.By: John Osborn and Family
Perfect property for a family holiday
We had a fantastic family holiday. This property was perfect for our party of 5 week old to 86 year old. There was plenty of space for everyone and it is very well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed the games room, the garden, the BBQ and strolls along the sea front. We will be recommending it to anyone considering a similar gathering. Thank you for the perfect holiday!By: Stephanie B
40th at the Dairy House
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the house was absolutely perfect and ideal for such a gathering. It had a feeling of luxury, whilst catering for everything we could think of. We wished we had longer and would love to come back! The staff and procedures were all extremely professional.By: Birgitte
Perfect for large group holiday!
We had a fantastic week thank you, we cannot fault anything and the service whilst booking was excellent and easy. The welcome tour and welcome pack were fantastic, the house is just perfect with a great location and everything is catered for. We have stayed in a lot of large holiday homes and never have they been so well equipped, everything we could possibly need was to hand! Thank you very much for a wonderful week.By: S. Clark
I can recommend this as a very good place to stay
A very nice house - very clean throughout with all the gadgets and gizmo's we needed for our stay. The kids loved the games room and the house was a good base for our trips out with plenty of museums and things to do and see. The travel cot was especially helpful and the welcome pack was great !! We found Complete's staff very helpful, polite and friendly.By: Graham Cossey
Short break at beautiful property
We recently stayed Mon-Fri at this property in Gosport. It is a large seven bedroom, 5 bathroom house. The house has 2 bedrooms on the first floor with a separate shower room, 4 bedrooms on the middle floor, of which 2 are ensuite, and also separate shower room and bathroom. Then a large attic room with two beds. We stayed as two families as a party of 8, all over 18. It was so lovely for the kids (young adults) to have a room each and a perfect space. The games room was an amazing space with a pool table, which converted into a table tennis table. There was also a nintendo wii, which we hadn't played for years, but was a nice touch! Lots of fun had by everyone. The large sitting room was on the first floor and was a lovely room, very light and airy with a view over the boats in the harbour. Also a large garden with two separate seating areas to catch the sun at different times of the day. The kitchen was slightly smaller in respect of the size of the house, but had everything that we needed. There was a large american style fridge freezer in the kitchen and also another freezer out in the shed area, so more than enough room to store all food/drinks that we needed. Amazingly clean all the way through, no concerns at all about hygiene. The location in Gosport was great, just a few minutes walk from two local pubs. The Jolly Roger was great, we attended a quiz night there, and won! and also had a meal there another evening, it's a perfect local pub. Would thoroughly recommend for families of all ages.By: Patricia W
A Hen Break Away
We had a great weekend and everyone said how perfect the house was for the Hen weekend. The whole house was really clean and modern and it felt spacious enough for all 16 girls to relax and party comfortably. It was lovely to all be able to sit around the dining table together and also to be able to all have a comfortable seat in the lounge plus we had great fun using the Wii dance and the pool table. There basically was everything we needed for our three night stay and would thoroughly recommend it for any group or family gathering. The staff have been brilliant and very helpful, promptly replying to any query I had. Hopefully I will have a reason to book the house again in the future.By: L. Smith
Lovely property well equipped
The whole group thoroughly enjoyed their stay at The Dairy House. The house is very well equipped, and perfect for families. The games room was a huge hit with both children and adults and the house was very well presented on arrival, I loved the large dining table being already set. The initial meet and greet was friendly, informative and professional. Overall excellent.By: Keith Gordon
Me and my family group of 15 stayed at the Dairy House in December for a long weekend to celebrate my Nan's 100th Birthday, We had a great weekend and the house really suited the dynamics of our family group. Our children really enjoyed the games room and the upstairs lounge while the adults were content to chat and recount tales in the living area and kitchen. We have some great memories of this special weekend. I found the house good value compared with our properties that we looked at the standard of fittings was high with nice little unexpected extra touches around the house. Complete holidays were very professional in our dealings with them from start to finish and we all enjoyed our stay and did not want to leave.By: Whukey
Fabulous - thank you!
We had a fabulous time staying at The Dairy House, thank you for all your help in organising our weekend away! My sister and our party were celebrating her hen weekend and all commented on how beautiful the house was from the size and amount of rooms available to us, to the cleanliness throughout. We also met with Ken on arrival and he was very friendly and accommodating, which was a lovely start to our break away. We have all said that we would definitely return to the area and would love to stay at the house again separately with our families and some were even considering hiring it out for Christmas one year! I would consider using your company in the future and would be happy to recommend you to others.By: Victoria Lovell
Great house for a large group
Extremely well-equipped, versatile & comfortable large house in a good location. Plenty of room & spacious enough to keep our group (ages 3 to 91) entertained even in winter. On a quiet street but just a few steps to waterfront & pubs. Easy access to Portsmouth on the ferry & numerous attractions within a short drive. Kitchen incredibly well-equipped with plenty of fridge/freezer space. Would definitely recommend.By: Andrew L
Great location and facilities
First class. This an annual tour to different locations and is one of the best properties we have stayed in. It is situated in a great location and the Jolly Roger pub within a couple of minutes walk is highly recommended. Complete's staff and administration were first class and there is no hesitation in recommending this property as it is ideal for large groups.By: Springett golfing week
Great Place for a Get Together
The dealings that I have had with Complete have been a pleasure and everyone has been very helpful. It was great to have the flexibility to organise rooms in different ways and the items, such as the cot beds and stair gates, that were provided to make our stay stress free were fantastic. The housekeeper who called to confirm our plans was also a great touch. The house was very clean and the space was great for our friends reunion. The children had plenty of space to play, as did the men! The layout meant that the adults could talk and enjoy catching up whilst children slept and were not disturbed. There was a generous number of bathrooms and showers which is always a plus when trying to get a large number of people up and out in the morning! The kitchen was a little small for the number of people but was very well equipped and the welcome items were very sweet. We all had a fantastic time and would definitely consider using the house again and recommend it to friends.By: F. Ingram
Top location for exploring Portsmouth.
Excellent stay . House well presented, clean, comfortable. Staff helpful.By: The Hallidays
The perfect place for big group getaways
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dairy House. It suited our needs perfectly. As a group of girls having five bathrooms was a god send! The rooms were all beautifully furnished and clean and comfortable and the highlight was the huge dining table that allowed us all to share meals around it. We loved all the other communal rooms too, they allowed for people to break off and have down time when they wanted too. The house keeper was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions super promptly and generally making our stay that extra comfortable. We enjoyed a drink at the Jolly Roger and a stroll along the water front with gorgeous views. It helped that we'd picked the perfect weekend of weather! I would also thoroughly recommend Andy Biggs for watersport activities. We all went for a paddle board and kayaking session at a lake nearby and it was so much fun. The session was wonderfully run and we all managed to stand on our paddle boards which having never done it before was quite a group achievement! It was also incredibly reasonably priced. Andy was helpful and friendly from the first enquiry to when we settled up the bill at the end. So yes, they're a fab company. The local taxi service was also very handy and we were always able to get a couple of 7 seaters for our large group no problem. All in all it was the perfect house for our needs and a lot of the girls have said they would be interested in returning for family get togethers and the like so I hope our stay may generate more business! Thank you again for all your help. We had a very happy bride to be at the end of the weekend!By: Birley
The Dairy House makes an excellent base for exploring both sides of Portsmouth Harbour
Very accommodating - clean, well looked after and very well presented with enough space for everybody to sleep and relax. The Dairy House feels like a home not just a holiday house. The living areas, garden etc. absorbed our party with ease and beds were comfortable and bed-linen and towels top quality. Gosport and Portsmouth are centres for so many great places and we enjoyed a nice meal at The Jolly Roger. Great conversations with Ken, the office and housekeeper. Would we return – yes certainly and would we recommend it to friends yes certainly. The Dairy House makes a brilliant base for exploring both sides of Portsmouth Harbour and reminds us land-lubbers how important the sea and ferries are to our island heritage.By: Long's 60th
Excellent house and very helpful staff at the Complete Holiday homes!
Excellent ! - It was a fantastic experience of sharing The Dairy House and it had all the facilities to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. We very much enjoyed the property as well as the Marina and Jolly Roger Pub, the view was great and in a nice location to have a drink, chat and watch the view. The Dairy House is lovely and had everything that we needed. The dining room was great and we made good use of the games room. It was very well equipped and to a high standard. It was in a good location with easy access to the passenger ferry and Gunwharf Quays. The staff were very helpful and quick to respond to emails. A great location for a family gathering!
Very beautiful. Very clean and very big, perfect for our family holiday. We particularly enjoyed the games room with the Wii and tennis table. We also enjoyed the Dockyards and we visited other places like the New Forest and Osbourne House on the Isle of Wight, Stonehenge and Salisbury.... all wonderful places. Completes staff were excellent from start to finish.By: Jauzelon
Fantastic Find in Gosport!
We had such a great weekend and were bowled over by how lovely the property is. It was perfect for our group as we had just the right amount of people without converting the sofas to beds etc and everybody had there own privacy if required. The setting is fantastic with great views of the harbour which was quite awe inspiring and the spacious lounge/games/garden areas were perfect. Over the weekend we got chatting to a few locals and found people very welcoming and there were also a good couple of pubs close by which are definitely worth a mention. The procedures in booking and your staff have been faultless - with Laura being fantastic when showing us around the property on Friday. I would definitely use your services again in the future when looking for other places for weekends away!By: Bhardwaj
Wonderful weekend in a lovely house.
Absolutely lovely, clean perfectly equipped and so much space! There are gorgeous walks by the water, really pretty roads, plenty of shops, and pubs only two minutes away. Complete Holiday Homes’ staff were helpful and friendly, the booking was smooth from start to finish, thank you!By: Abercrombie
Clean, spacious and well equipped with contained garden
Very clean, nice and spacious, we really liked the upstairs living room and games room. Really useful shops nearby, nice harbour to walk to and from and other attractions only a drive away. Good experience, the house had everything that we needed in it. Completes staff were very helpful, informative and friendly.By: Telling Family
Fantastic Family Accommodation
The property was excellent. We spent the majority of our time at the property with the family who thoroughly enjoyed the facilities, in particular the games room provided, which kept everyone from 4 - 65 years of age entertained. The professional and friendly service of the staff has excelled all our other stays in self catering accommodation. This was a huge surprise for my husband's special birthday and the staff helped me keep it a secret.By: Collins
Well equipped house in great location, would recommend!
An excellent weekend was had by all staying at the property. We found the house to be well equipped and in perfect condition upon arrival. The heating is very efficient, almost too efficient and we had to turn it down and the beds were very comfortable. The tardis style fridge/freezer can hold more than it appears and also the double gas hob/oven was great. The house is situated in a good quiet location and the internet was coming in at approx. 20 meg which was more than adequate. We found that the whole booking process ran very smoothly, the staff at Complete Holiday Homes were attentive and levels of communication were perfect throughout the whole process.By: Gareth Jones
Fantastic 70th Birthday Party
The property was wonderful, very well equipped with everything you could think of and the welcome pack of goodies was very thoughtful. Nice area with good views, especially from the lounge. Had Angela from The Recipe House in to cook Sunday lunch, this was very well received from all members of our group. They were so helpful and left everything looking as if they had never been in the kitchen! Have not received such helpful staff etc for a long time, will highly recommend Complete Holiday Homes to my friends.By: The Smith Party
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Dairy House, it is a beautiful property, thank you very much for everything and for such an efficient booking service.By: The Lawrie Family
Great house for a fabulous large, family-friendly gathering of old uni friends to celebrate our anniversary!
The Dairy House - Great size, good communal spaces and great to have so many bathrooms. The BBQ was fab too. Good location and parking. - Very clean and very well equipped, we felt very welcome. The walk to the ferry that took us over to Portsmouth was nice. Complete offered very good, timely and polite communication (emails, calls and on arrival) Overall a great experience - I suspect we will be back soon !By: Brighton, School of 2006
Perfect for a 50th Birthday Celebration ! - Large enough areas for us all to get together. The house itself was very well equipped with plenty of bathrooms and when we arrived was clean and tidy - A home from home. We had not visited Gosport before so it was good to have a look around. Catching the ferry to Portsmouth was easy with lots to see and do. With regards to booking the staff at Complete were very friendly and efficient.By: Wallis/Mitchell
Incredible accommodation and lovely staff
We were really happy and impressed with the service throughout our whole stay with Complete Holiday Homes. All of the staff we encountered throughout the booking and whole process were so friendly and helpful and really made the booking process easier. Thanks in particular to Sophie and Ken who we dealt with. The accommodation was really lovely - well presented, spacious and just a great place to stay. We especially enjoyed the games rooms! The accommodation had everything we needed and we wouldn’t hesitate to re-book in the future and would definitely recommend the services of Complete Holiday Homes to anyone.By: Odysseus Advertising
Fantastic time at The Dairy House for a surprise 50th birthday. There were 18 of us and there was plenty of room and very comfortable with plenty of bathrooms. The games room was a great success and allowed the men in the group to sit there watching boxing, football etc and when that finished no end of pool and table tennis. Great location near supermarkets and the port. The Ferry was an approx 30 mins walk away but was great to walk along the front on route to Gunwharf Quays looking at the boats. Opposite the house was a lovely little pub called The Old House at Home. Fantastic weekend was had by all and they all want to go again this weekend!! Thank you Complete Holiday Homes for your help organising and Ken for meeting me at the house when we arrived. Highly recommend this house.By: Ferrari
The Dairy, Gosport, getaway with friends
Beautiful, clean and lots of space !! A good location for exploring the local area. We got the ferry to Portsmouth and visited Stokes Bay. As the weather was colder we also spent a lot of time in the house relaxing which is great for big groups, lots of space and the children loved the games room. Everything we needed was provided - a great experience. Thank you.By: C E Clarke
Excellent for a big group
Very comfortable and plenty of room for a big group (we had 16). Lovely spaces to eat, chat and socialise, our guests were very complimentary of our choice. the Wii and the pool table / table tennis were a great hit with the younger guests (and some of the adults too). Situated within easy walking distance to museums and the Gosport Ferry. Complete Holiday Homes provided a very high standard of service and I would certainly recommend them to friends and family.By: Chris M

Beautiful house, perfect for a large group of people. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it. Thank you very much.By: S M Duffy
Great house, comfortable and all in very good order. A real 'tardis' for space!
Beautiful, clean + everything catered for! Lots to do in easy distance (some needing short car journeys) We appreciated the dishwasher tablets being left for us as we forgot to bring some. Upon arrival there was also an unexpected welcome pack of tea/coffee/biscuits/milk... which was lovely! All in all very helpful and accommodating.By: The Sherman Family
Superb house - owners have thought of absolutely everything. The whole place is excellent. Plenty of room for everyone to have a good time. Every little thing you could think of needing was there. The games room was a fantastic addition. Very enjoyable and so nice to have a weekend away with the whole family. A superb 70th Birthday celebration!By: Sheila J
The Dairy House
Bigger and more spacious than expected ! 5* star - everything we needed. There was so much to see and do - the boys enjoyed The Submarine Museum whilst the girls enjoyed the shops in Portsmouth and the men enjoyed the pubs whilst us girls were shopping ! A lovely day also spent at Stokes Bay. We enjoyed not having to use the car as much as everything was on the doorstep and we enjoyed a lovely Chinese meal at The Great Wall where all staff were very friendly. We also had a delivery of an Indian Meal and Fish and Chips - cheaper than London prices ! Complete themselves were fantastic - it was a last minute booking and we got to enjoy this fantastic house !By: Cooks and Ruston
Great house for a multiple family get together
We had a lovely week at The Dairy House, it was a beautiful property and all of the party commented on the lovely condition it was in. It was extremely child friendly, which suited our group as there were seven children all five and under. The kitchen was well equipped and the welcome pack of tea, coffee etc was a nice touch. Ken who met us at the property was very helpful and friendly and took a great deal of time to take us around the property. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone.By: Lindsay D
Dairy House was pleasant
Very pleasant stay. Really clean, friendly host and great area. 2 minute walk away from a beautiful harbour. Would recommend to everyone.By: Christie
The house designed for friends
Once a year a group of us travel together to some exciting destination. This year we were looking for a place where 8 of us (3 couples and 2 singles) could meet up before our cruise sailing out of Southampton. We found the Dairy House in Gosport and boy were we glad we did. The house from the outside looks great but you would not think that it would be enough for such a large group of people. On the inside it's like you walk into the Tardis. This place is huge on the inside. The kitchen is large, a little tight with more than 4 people in it but functionally it works. It is stocked with pots, dishes, utensils enough to cook and serve a small army. There is nothing that you can't find to cook with. Almost like being at home where you have all your tools to whip up a gourmet meal. The dinning room is massive! I cannot tell you how many people you can fit at the table but the eight of us spread out on it and still only used half the table. Windows let in natural light. There is a sun room off from the dining room and the play room with a pool table and tv. Lots of bedrooms, some with en suites some without spread over 3 levels of the house. There is a clothes washer in the kitchen but no drier. You need to do it the environmentally correct way of hanging the clothes to dry. There is a clothes tree and lines outside as well as a line and small hanger in the sun room if the weather isn't going your way. Lots of clothes pins scattered throughout. The location couldn't have been better. There is a pub basically across the street which made into our local away from home. Perfectly situated just off the Eclipse bus line, one way to the Gosport Ferry and the other way to Fareham train station. Also a nice walk down to the pedestrian street downtown Gosport. So if you have a large group of friends or family and you need a place to lay your head at night and use it as a base to explore Portsmouth and surrounding area, this is the place to be.By: Magicats
A House for all reasons and seasons
Our third visit, the house caters for all ages and everyone loves it. It is clean, comfortable and has amazing views, it is always a knockout for our family. We walked along the coast to get very fine views of the new Aircraft Carrier and then to Fort Brockhurst which had points of interest to satisfy all 15 of us. We did not need to use the cars all weekend. The Dairy House never fails to please, it is well sited and always spotless.By: The Kenney Clan
Dairy House, Gosport
Excellent - The Dairy House catered very well for all 13 of us. Very clean everywhere. The boys loved the games room and it was great to all be able to sit around the large dining table for meals. We enjoyed the hot tub we hired in and this was all set up for our arrival and just the right temperature to relax in. We enjoyed a trip to Stokes Bay Beach, Granddad went on-board the Alliance submarine at The Submarine Museum and loved it, we visited Southbourne for the day plus went over on the ferry for an evening dinner at Gunwharf Quays. The staff at Complete were all very helpful with email replies sent straight away (we also had an issue with one of the door handles and the handyman came out the same day).By: The Ruston Family
Excellent Large Group Accomodation
A lovely clean home. Ideal for our group of 17 guests. The children loved the games room and the garden and we enjoyed the large dining room table which was perfect for our celebration birthday dinner. The outside caterers from Complete homes website did a truly amazing meal with excellent service. We enjoyed the location and nearby facilities.By: Andrew H
Perfect accommodation for family reunions
The house exceeded all our expectations. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The Christmas tree and decorations gave us a warm welcome and the owner Ken, couldn’t have been more a obliging. The games rom was a hit with the children and adults. Local pubs in close proximity and ideally situated for Gunwharf where there were excellent restaurants, shopping and entertainment. 10 thumbs up.By: Sue A
Fantastic long weekend
We had a fantastic long weekend with family at The Dairy House. 4 generations of family (17 in total) and nobody was disappointed. It was clean, well equipped and we even had great weather to enjoy the garden! The home owner met us on arrival and he was helpful and took the time to explain everything and answer any questions. The location is great for families as plenty of things to do locally! Would highly recommend this property to anyone considering it and we may even stay again in the future ourselves...even my 3 year old daughter said “please can we go to the big house again!”By: S. Dudley
Well equipped house in great location
We booked the house for a 70th birthday celebration. We had a party of 18 including young children. The house is really well equipped with beautiful bedrooms and a fantastic games room which got plenty of use. We self catered and the kitchen equipment was spot on with plenty of big pans and serving dishes. The location was a real plus and we didn't use the cars all weekend. The owner was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend to anyone.By: Trudy W
Superb property ideal for family gatherings.
This property exceeded all our expectations. Fully stocked to meet all our needs. Local to shops, restaurants and easy access to Gun Wharf and Portsmouth Harbour on the Gosport ferry. It is ideal for families and the games room was a great hit. The added little touches of Christmas tree, tasteful decorations and welcome package of basic essentials just made our whole experience a holiday to remember.By: Sue
Great for big family
The property provided a great space for a big family gathering with kids and was well equipped with squeezey parking for 4 cars (inc 3 big ones!). The brown square stools in the lounge are a great idea for extra seating. The hot tub we hired in was a lovely treat and well organised (shame we didn't make more use of it). The property also benefited from lovely views of the boats in the Harbour from our bedroom and lounge. The kitchen was smallish for the size of group but not a problem and had everything we needed. We brought big slow cookers so we could feed the masses while still going out for the afternoon. We had a lovely stay. Wish it could have been longer than a weekend really, and we would have been comfortable in the house for a week.By: Louise A
Birthday family get together

What a Lovely Experience
We arrived for our Christmas holiday and was greeted by the owner, The house was warm and welcoming, and we were at home instantly. The house had everything you could ever want including a games room and a hired in hot tub, the table was set for sixteen people and looked absolutely fabulous, the whole family had a great Christmas and the children had all the space they needed to be free, there was everything in the house you needed and more. This is a beautiful house and the cleanliness when we arrived was top notch. A summer visit is definitely on the cards for us , the ferry for the dockyard is just down the road and also the designer center. Thanks for our wonderful stayBy: TJ J
Wonderful home in Gosport
The Dairy House - beautiful, well maintained, comfortable, well equipped and clean. We enjoyed the games room. The property is well positioned for walks to the Harbour and the Explosion Museum. We appreciated the provisions for children, the house had a homely feel. We did experience a problem with the heating however somebody was sent out to resolve this straight away. Complete Holiday Homes were very helpful.By: Angus H
We loved the Dairy House in Gosport, it was perfect for a large group. The house is bright and sunny and the beds very comfortable. There were 12 of us so we only needed 6 of the 7 bedrooms, but it would be ideal for 7 couples or a family of 14. Really enjoyed our stay and enjoyed spending time in Portsmouth.By: Elaine S
Perfect venue for a group gathering.
Great Property! Very clean and comfortable for our group of 12. Everything you need. Very close to the sea. Great from start to finish! Was excellent.By: Tony
Excellent Stay At The Dairy House
We recently hired The Dairy House for family and friends for the base for our nearby wedding over a long weekend and we simply cannot sing it's praises highly enough, We had family and friends from as far as Poland and Ireland join us and the ease of transport to and from the London and closer Southampton airports was a major bonus. The house is very well located for a number of day trips further afield or lazy days locally with excellent cafes, bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. The house met all our needs and more. Our teenage guests loved the games room (in fact we all did) whilst the older generation particularly enjoyed relaxing and spending quality time catching up with dear friends in the many seated areas in the house and gardens. The property was very clean, well decorated and extremely well stocked. Ample seating areas for everyone and the massive dining table was perfect for everyone to catch up together for meals. Complete Holiday Homes were amazing to work with and we took them up on some recommendations including The Recipe House caterers who were justly award top marks from us all. I cannot recommend The Dairy House and Complete Holiday Homes enough.By: The Wallace Newlyweds
Great location for visiting Portsmouth
Excellent and very clean. Also had everything we needed and good size rooms. We spent the weekend looking around the Historic Dockyard, Mary Rose, Submarine Museum and enjoyed going up the Spinnaker Tower. We all go away every year together and this was one of the most straight forward bookings. The whole party had a great time.By: Sonia
The Dairy House
We had a wonderful 2 weeks at the Dairy House, the weather was amazing so we spent much of our time at the various beaches nearby. We are a party of 17, 9 children & 8 adults and the Dairy house was more than big enough for us all, beautiful views from the upstairs lounge & the games room was a big hit with both the adults & children. The neighbours were friendly and happy to tell us places to go with our children. Having our linen and towels changed one week in was a lovely touch and the staff who arrived were friendly and accommodating to a sleeping child. Ken met us on our 1st day and his comprehensive tour was very helpful. The staff at Complete Holiday Homes were always very professional and friendly whenever we contacted them, we would definitely consider booking again and would highly recommend to others. 5 stars from us.By: The Holders
Fantastic House for a Large Group
Very well laid out for large groups with enough room for everyone to spread out. We made full use of the dining room and games room, and lovely view from the upstairs sitting room. All the bedrooms are spacious, and plenty of bathrooms and showers to go round.By: Sarah P
Lovely house in a great location
We really loved The Dairy House and the location. It was our first time booking a location that wasn't rural and it worked really well. All of us loved the fact that there was so much to do in the area without having to use the car. The house was really well set up with great facilities and loads of space for everyone. The pool table, gas barbecue and the outside furniture were great pluses. It's also great to have four sets of keys so we are not always having to organise who needs to be back at the house first. So many houses we have stayed in over the years have poor water pressure, no hot water and dribbly showers. I'm happy to report that the Dairy House isn't one of those! Ken was great at ringing me straight back the one time we did have a slight issue with the boiler and it was sorted in minutes. The area itself is great. We had quite a few trips to the Hardway for crabbing and to Portsmouth for the museums. The Powder Monkey Brewery and the Jolly Roger Pub were both very friendly, with great beer. Overall the Dairy House is the best house we have stayed in over the past twenty years. Thank you all for setting us up for a fantastic holiday!By: Mike
We had a fantastic stay at The Dairy House, all 3 families enjoyed everything the Dairy House had to offer. Plenty of fun had in the games room, sunny evenings spent barbecuing in the garden as well as plenty of space to eat, sleep and chill. We enjoyed some days out in the free splash parks that Gosport had to offer, a day in the Alver Valley Country Park, crazy golf and evening walks round the harbour while sampling the local pubs on the way. All in all a pretty perfect break away. We had a fantastic stay and couldn’t fault the house or the service you provided us.By: Carly
The Dairy House was lovely and met all of our needs. We had 4 family’s staying to celebrate a 60th birthday and there was plenty of space for all of us, the games room was a hit with the kids and adult’s. We loved the area and the views and it was great that we were close to pubs which were very friendly, also good transport if needed, we used the ferry a couple of times which was fun for the kids and was easy and accessible for shopping and restaurants, The staff at Complete Accommodation were very helpful. Thank you.By: Jill
Perfect for family gathering
It was a family celebration, 16 people aged 70 to 3 years! The house was well placed, just a few minutes walk from the water's edge, and we enjoyed a slow walk to the Gosport ferry that took approx 30 mins. We also visited Stokes Bay and Lee on Solent, both a short drive away. The pub across the road was a welcome venue for some of our party. The house was well equipped to accommodate large parties and the rooms were very spacious. The games room was a hit with all the youngsters in our group whilst the parents enjoyed relaxing in the very sunny garden. The bedrooms were laid out according to our instructions. All of the booking and other admin processes were straight forward and trouble free. Ken was very helpful and responded to our requests very promptly. Our deposit was repaid within a few days. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dairy House and we would not hesitate to book with Complete Holiday Homes again.By: Betty
Fantastic comfortable house perfect for a large group
We were a party of nine adults and four teenagers and we all loved The Dairy House and made good use of the pool room, upstairs lounge and dining room. We had plenty of space in the bedrooms and enough showers and toilets not to be waiting around for each other. The kitchen wasn't huge, but was well equipped and the double entrance meant we could all get in and out ok. We appreciated the large oven and many cafetieres and tea pots. Also plenty of glasses and mugs. We didn't use the TV, but did use the Bluetooth speakers. The communication from Complete Holiday Homes has been excellent, and there was someone there to meet us when we arrived and at the end of our stay. I can't think of anything negative to say or suggest any improvements! We enjoyed walking to and crossing on the Gosport Ferry to Portsmouth, and walks on Hayling Island and Winchester Hill. Thank you for facilitating a very memorable stay, it was so nice to be able to go away together again in a big group.By: Sarah P
Excellent well-stocked house for large get-togethers
Thank you for the house over this weekend - the quality of the house exceeded my expectations. Of particular note: the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and crockery. I was also particularly appreciative that you'd taken time to decorate the house. It gave the children a real sense of excitement for our Christmas get together.By: David C
Fabulous 50th Celebration with Friends
The Dairy House is a brilliant place for a large gathering of either friends or family! Great communal rooms for both eating and relaxing with an amazing view of the harbour from upstairs living room. All the bedrooms are a good size with very comfortable beds. The games room with pool table is fab especially at this time of year. Lots of great walks to be found around the bay including through the Explosion Museum. The ferry to Gunwharf Quay is about 30 minute walk and very easy to use and catching the bus back is also very simple. Lots of good restaurants around, we particularly liked The Powder Monkey and Just Eat have loads of local takeaways which deliver to your door. All in all a really great weekend was spent and I can't recommend highly enough. Brilliant accommodation and location and fantastic support given by Complete Holiday Homes.By: Donna
Excellent service from booking to the stay
Great booking experience. Perfect property for large party, we were 13 but could have slept several more people. Would recommend.By: Alison A
Fab Place for a get together
From booking to finally getting to stay at The Dairy House was fantastic. I mean finally because due to the pandemic we had to change our dates twice ! Complete Holiday Homes were really helpful throughout and prompt with responses even during the pandemic. On arrival I was met by Steve who showed me around explaining how everything worked. The Dairy House is very well equipped and plenty of room for us all, with quaint little quiet spaces for those that needed time to read or finish off work. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the lounge is fab. Parking at the front of the house was good and we fitted four large cars easily on the drive. I cannot recommend enough and once again a big thank you for a great stay and we will be back again.By: Shannon P
Perfect location for family 60th Birthday celebration at The Dairy House
Our party consisted of 3 generations of the family ranging from 10 years old to just turning 60 and we were all together to celebrate a 60th birthday. We were made to feel at home right from the start of the holiday, being met by Ken, who carefully explained everything to us. The Dairy House was extremely clean inside, with welcoming lights left on in each of the rooms. It seemed as if nothing was too much trouble for Ken, who happily sent us a text message later, recommending some local take-aways. The internal accommodation was just as in the photos/video on the website, and provided ample space for our group of 12 people. The dining room with its very large table was much appreciated, as it meant that we could all gather around it to eat together. We made very good use of this room, for playing board games/cards as well as eating. The biggest hit however was the games room, where the table tennis and pool table were enjoyed by everyone, both young and old(er). Unfortunately, the weather was not that good during our stay, but we still managed to enjoy the private garden. The house was well situated, being within easy reach of attractions and amenities. We particularly enjoyed catching the ferry for the short crossing to Gunwharf Quays and Portsmouth Dockyards. Marwell Zoo is within easy reach, and our visit there was a hit with everyone. Just a few minutes drive away is Lee on Solent, where we went to play crazy golf, at an extremely well maintained course. Ken was a very welcoming host, and The Dairy House has been thoughtfully equipped inside with everything needed for larger groups of people. Complete Holiday Homes was also extremely kind in returning some items to us that we left behind during packing, I would not hesitate to recommend The Dairy House for a family/group holiday.By: Karen H
On the whole the experience of dealing with Complete Holiday Homes has been easy and everyone I have dealt with has been professional and friendly. Any queries I had were replied to immediately. The Dairy House was fab and perfect for our group. We appreciated the well thought out facilities such as extra fridge and freezer, 2 toasters kettles etc. Plenty of cutlery and crockery too. Kitchen was very well equipped. To be honest we were all impressed with the house, the service and overall experience so thank you.By: Rose
Great Family Location
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Dairy House. A rare chance for our whole family to enjoy some quality time together. The booking process and communications were easy from start to finish. Ken is relaxed and friendly making the check in procedure painless and stress fee, giving us some interesting information on the history of the property. The house is in an excellent location, on our first evening we took advantage of the good weather and walked from the house to the area overlooking the harbour. All the family loved the amazing views and we were lucky to see a cruise ship exiting the harbour. The house itself is extremely well equipped and like a home from home. Everything was provided from the fluffy white towels and crisp white bedding to the smallest of needs such as dishwasher tablets. The rooms are bright and airy with a pleasant games room providing entertainment such as pool and table tennis. There were games for all the children and the garden was well equipped with seating, barbecue and skittles. Comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms and a lovely sitting room on the first floor with views overlooking Portsmouth Harbour. The location made it easy for us to get to Stokes Bay beach and the splash park for the children and we also took a trip on the Gosport Ferry to Gunwharf and onwards to Southsea. It was so wonderful to spend time together in such comfortable surroundings and despite there being so many of us we did not feel on top of each other as the house is so spacious. The whole family agreed we should try to do this again soon.By: Catherine W
Lovely House - well worth a visit
Dairy House is a really lovely house to rent for the weekend with family or friends. The house was very well maintained and clean. The games room was a wonderful distraction for the children.By: Yvette M
Perfect house in a great location for our New Year break
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Dairy House to celebrate the New Year. We were a party of 8 adults and 10 children and the house was ideal. Very clean, well equipped and beautifully furnished. The location was great. A pleasant walk to Gosport dock to explore Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight. A weeks holiday enjoyed by all.By: Polly B
A very big, spacious, well equipped house. We had a wonderful time celebrating the 80th birthday of our beloved mum. All the guests had a wonderful time at this accommodation.By: The Patel Family
My family and I really appreciated our stay in the Dairy House, it was ideal for us and gave us plenty of options for sleeping, and chilling. One of the big plus points for us was the enclosed garden as we had three wee children with us, so the opportunity for them to play and run, in a safe space was very valuable. Another plus was the games room, we made full use of the pool table, table tennis and large TV for watching the football in the evenings. Kitchen well equipped and really accessible. Let me repeat, we had a great time as a family and none of the points mentioned had detrimental impact, our memories are all good and we enjoyed discovering a little bit of what Hampshire has on offer.By: Eric P
Well equipped, well maintained, all we expected and more
Overall the property was well equipped, practical and interesting. Loved the waterside and The Victualler pub/restaurant and walking to the Gosport ferry and Stokes Bay. The property had all we needed and it exceeded our expectations. Thank you very much for the experience, we have made some happy memories.By: Andrew P
The Dairy House
The Dairy House was spotless on arrival with many charming little touches giving it a real family feel. There were 4 generations of us from 76 years to 15 months and there was something for everyone. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable, in fact, everything you could possibly need for a large family holiday. Lovely garden and plenty of parking. The games room was especially popular as there were two teenagers in the group! Would thoroughly recommend this lovely house for a holiday near all the famous sights on offer nearby.By: Rosemary, Michael and Family

Great Family weekend to celebrate a 70th birthday in a lovely house
We had a fantastic week in The Dairy House. It was all made easy from the beginning. Being able to choose how beds were made up was good. This allowed us to have a bedroom for our 3 teenage boys and a bedroom for our 3 young girls. The boys loved being up in the roof. The house had everything we needed. Plenty of room. Lovely fluffy towels. We were very lucky with the weather so it was great having all the garden furniture which we put on the artificial grass. This was lovely for walking on. So nice being near to the sea front, a couple of minutes and you were sitting there watching the boats. We had Naval Dockyard tickets so used those for days out. We used the Gosport Ferry a couple of times which was good for my brother as he had a mobility scooter. The games room was great. We all used it children and adults.By: Patricia
Excellent family house
We really enjoyed our stay at the Dairy House. Overall the property was comfortable with plenty of space for a large party. Well equipped and well furnished. Loved the beautiful mirrors. Good parking. Gosport and Portsmouth had much to offer. The historic Royal Naval dockyard was a great success, as was our day trip to the Isle of the Wight.By: McCaul Family
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for helping us have a wonderful weekend at The Dairy House. With all the booking, planning and many questions along the way, you have all been amazing! Your customer service is second to none compared to many other businesses and you should be super proud of that. I couldn't recommend you highly enough as a company and as individuals.By: C. Puri
Spacious, beautifully presented and welcoming.
The Dairy House is large, spacious, beautifully presented and welcoming. It is an ideal base for local attractions with the Gosport ferry to Portsmouth a 25 minute walk away. Beautiful views across the harbour and lots to do in the area. The house was very comfortable for a large group and we enjoyed having the games room. We were met at the property by Ken who gave us an extensive tour and filled us in on local amenities. A very comfortable spacious home for a large group.By: Margaret
Ideal for a family get together
The Dairy House was ideal for a family get together, very well equipped with plenty of utensils, plates, bowls etc. The heating was excellent, in fact so good we had to turn some radiator thermostats down or off. Ken was brilliant and gave us a very comprehensive tour of the property. Probably the best we’ve ever had in a property we’ve hired. It was a nice touch to have the table set in readiness for a meal. Parking was adequate and the location was excellent for us. We would only have two very small suggestions, we couldn’t find a pasta spoon or a bread knife capable of cutting bread. I wouldn’t have bothered to mention these normally, as we improvised and coped without - they did not effect our stay, but Ken did ask for any suggestions however small. We would certainly recommend both your company and The Dairy House in particular to friends and I know our family were all impressed with the property. Thanks for a great stay.By: Finn Family
A wonderful house
The Diary House was a wonderful space for my writing retreat to take place. It was comfortable and cosy, offering plenty of space for us to not only gather but also to spread out and write. It's proximity to the water front, harbour and wooded area meant we could take nurturing walks, as well as have somewhere to sit and reflect in nature. The house itself is spacious, having been thoughtfully extended. It is clearly well looked after with homely comfortable furniture and a great variety of equipment in the kitchen that made eating in a pleasure. I really appreciated the warm, welcoming, supportive and informative communication and also the welcoming meet and orientation with the host. I shall certainly be looking to return there and would thoroughly recommend it.By: C. Cooper

The house is warm and welcoming.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dairy House. On arrival the house was warm and welcoming, Ken was there to give us a tour of the house and full of tips about the house and making the most of seeing the surrounding area. The house had a Christmas tree and decorations which we really appreciated as our stay was a Siblings, Christmas, get together. The house is very well equipped and we were able to prepare a celebration meal followed by knockout Pool. We enjoyed the walk to the ferry and then mooching round the Outlet shops. A lovely weekend.By: Mary
A great house for large groups.
We had a great weekend thank you. The whole booking process and collecting keys etc was very easy and straight forward. The only thing missing at The Dairy House for us was a few champagne/ Prosecco flute glasses. Otherwise, the kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of everything. It is a great house for large groups with plenty of space. We loved the walk and ferry to Gunwharf Quays, stopping off for a drink in The Jolly Roger.By: Garry & Rowan
Great views over the bay.
The property was spacious and had a fully equipped kitchen, everything a big family group with kids would need for their stay. The option of configuring rooms and providing a cot and high chair was helpful. Having board games, puzzles in various rooms with a pool table and a Wii to keep people entertained is a nice touch. It has a great view over the bay and is in good proximity to Gosport for a day trip to Portsmouth on the passenger ferry. Ken was helpful at check-in to provide instructions for our stay.By: Matthew
Fantastic from the word go.
We had a wonderful stay at the Dairy House, celebrating my wife's big birthday with ten of us! It was fantastic from the word go! Greeted by Ken who gave us a tour of the extensive house with all it's bedrooms which were immaculate. Our granddaughter's loved their rooms and the games room was a massive hit. We had everything we needed and more! Perfect location for a stroll to the ferry and visiting Portsmouth!By: Mr Peake
We had a fab time
We had a fab time at the Dairy House. The whole weekend was a great success and couldn't be happier with the property. Check in was super smooth and everything was explained very clearly. The house had all the amenities we needed. Location is great, good selection of pubs and small shops nearby and getting into Portsmouth was very easy - pleasant walk down to the ferry! Thanks so much again.By: Ben
Ideal for our multi-generation family holiday
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dairy House. The house was ideal for our multi-generation family holiday. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the games room was especially popular. Booking procedures went very smoothly, and Ken who met us when we arrived, was very helpful with regards to the house and also tips on the area to help make our holiday go well. Recommendations for local takeaway restaurants were particularly helpful. Of course, the lovely sunny weather was an extra bonus! We had a really great holiday.By: Mary
